HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Wesley and I wish you all the best this year and wanted to send you out these words from Canadian prophets for you pray into and implement in 2016. Please view the individual words listed at the bottom of this page.
One of the dominant themes (as seen in Alain Caron’s word) is that this is the year to send out evangelistic teams – small teams, church planting teams, big teams – just GO!! It is a time for evangelism and evangelists. It is important that churches send their people to go out and preach the gospel in many spheres as there is an incredible hunger for good news in the nation of Canada. Everywhere the Lord is saying that He is about to bring a great harvest into His kingdom NOW, but “how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?” (Romans 10:14)
Though it is true that all over the world terrorism and war are increasing, climate change is wreaking havoc on the planet, and economic pressures are intensifying, this will provide the backdrop for the Church to manifest the greater works of Jesus, the greater love of Jesus and greater faith when fear is increasing (Watch Faytene Grasseschi’s video for a synopsis of this on her http://www.4mycanada.ca website).
In Canada, the effects of terror and war have landed on our shores in the form of the mass influx of Syrian refugees. Though dangers exist, in that radical elements may try to infiltrate, the overwhelming volume of people are merely the unhappy victims of a war they did not start. They are men and women like us who are struggling to save themselves and their families. They are in need of Christian love and care. In times past, it was often the Jews or Christians who were in this danger. Now it is a mixture of Muslims and Christians. We must not view the refugee crisis with a spirit of fear! We must have great faith.
In September 2015 James Goll was ministering with us at our Eyes & Wings Conference in Montreal. He had a strong prophetic word saying, “God was about to save the nomads.” Then he continued: “Those displaced, those moving, those who have been uprooted – God is about to visit them like never before.” Without knowing it, CNN had just run an article describing that there are more displaced person – and refugees than ever before – 59.5 million persons! These are the people God is about to save.
Therefore, people of faith need to see this crisis as an opportunity to demonstrate greater love and greater works. Many churches are coming together to sponsor families and we can demonstrate the love of Jesus in tangible ways and preach the gospel in word and deed. See http://www.beahero.org for practical ways to help. Also, Hany Boghossian from The Well on Bayview church (see http://thewellonbayview.ca) has been working with churches to sponsor Syrian refugee families and can help with the practical steps in the process. If we rush towards this potential Goliath in our nation, we can mitigate and bring down the spiritual and political dangers that could be inherent in this crisis.
Over and over, we are hearing that God wants His people to be full of faith in this season. This is not the time to shrink back, but to look up!! God is giving solutions to key people in the economic realm. Also He has been releasing greater works than ever before on the earth. The gospel that is coming forth through the evangelists in this season is being CONFIRMED with signs and wonders – testimonies of healing and miracles and dreams and visions abound!! With the great emphasis on climate change in the world, God is also wanting to demonstrate His power over the wind and waves (Luke 8:24, 25). Greater works showing God’s power over natural elements will be demonstrated through believers who understand this (James 5:17-18).
Prayer for our new Prime Minister is also something on the Lord’s heart. Patricia Bootsma’s daughter has had 2 dreams about praying for Justin Trudeau and ask your congregations and ministries to increase prayer for our Prime Minister. Pray specifically for his salvation. While you pray for our government, do not forget to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We must always obey this command that Jesus gave us.
Convergence of major movements will be a key element in overcoming the challenges of this next season. Prayer and missions are converging. Evangelism and power are converging. The rich and the poor are converging. The global crises are providing opportunities for believers to bring global solutions to the “seven mountains” of influence. Jesus asked: “When the Son of Man returns will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8) Of course, He will! A mature Bride, who is equal to the measure of the stature of Jesus (Ephesians 4:13) is growing up in the midst of great earthly pressures. Look up! Behold Him more than ever. And you will be transformed into His image even more in 2016 (2 Cor. 3:18). In a word, where your FOCUS is, there your faith will be.
God Bless You all this coming year! It is a great time to be alive!!
Much love,
Stacey Campbell
